e3 Talks Carbon at the Toronto Zoo |

Yesterday, e3 Solutions once again participated in the Toronto Zoo ECOexecutives Environment 101 workshop. J.P. Brown, an analyst with e3, delivered a presentation on the meaning and implications of climate change, global warming, and the greenhouse effect, as well as how to build a carbon footprint. Other presenters included Jeannie White from Symcor, Jennifer Taves from Partners in Project Green, Kerry Freek from Water Canada, Andrew Pride from the Ontario Power Authority, and Nelson Switzer from asherleaf.
The day also included a tour of several wildlife habitats. Attendees also had the opportunity to pet a rhinoceros. Click Read More for pictures.

e3 at T.O.'s Eco-Chase 2011 |

e3 is sponsored the first ever Toronto Eco-Chase. This event, organized by Eco-Duo, features a sustainability scavenger hunt around the city. By part-taking in the event participants will be exposed to some of Toronto's best sustainability features.

VP of Carbon Solutions Julie Matthews presented a lecture at the Toronto Board of Trade. She spoke on the subject of Best Practices for Risk Management in a Low Carbon World.
The event took place at the Toronto Board of Trade, and was organized by the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Toronto. Also speaking were HKMB HUB International's Sean Duggan and Carbonzero's Katie Altoft. |

e3 Manager Larissa Teoh Delivers Keynote Address at Carbon Workshop |

e3's Larissa Teoh was the keynote speaker at Niagara Sustainability Initiative's Carbon 101: Technical Workshop & Breakfast. This interactive workshop centered on the basics of carbon, the effect on business operations, and NSI’s role in achieving reduction goals. It also featured a tutorial on e3's Carbon Accounting Tool (e3CAT). The event took place at Niagara College's Glendale Campus (135 Taylor Road, Niagara-on-the-Lake).

e3 to attend EUEC2011 in Phoenix |

January 31 to February 2, 2011 -

e3 Solutions participated in the 14th Annual Energy, Utility, and Environment Conference, which was held at the Phoenix Convention Centre in Phoenix, AZ. This event is the largest and longest-running of its kind in the US, and featured 600 speakers, 2000 attendees, and 160 exhibits.
Delegates including environmental business leaders, energy executives, NGO’s and government policymakers converged to collaborate on the various issues facing energy generation, the future of utility and its impact on the environment. Speakers discussed topics such as clean air policy, legislation and technologies, multi-pollutant control, energy and climate policy, wind, solar, EV-PHEV, carbon markets and CCS, corporate greenhouse gas (GHS) strategies, biofuels, biomass, and biogas, sustainability and reliability, energy efficiency and management, renewable energy and operations and management.
